The day started with Alison not being able to sleep, she claims she doesn’t know why. I think she was just too excited, and wanted to know if he’d been. We go through that every year. So, Alison got up, and went downstairs to chat with her mum, who’d also spent the night at our house, and normally wakes up early.
I followed suit about thirty minutes later, tired, bleary-eyed, and freshly shaven. I stumble into an empty living-room, expecting that that’s where they are, awaiting to open prezzys. Only they’re not, then all heck breaks loose as the house-alarm detects me, and informs me that I’ve woken up the neighbourhood at 6.00am.
Alison and her mum then almost wet themselves with laughter, up stairs in the spare room where they’ve been hiding :)
Anyhow, more later, in the meantime. Alison gave me two extra fairys that I’d no idea she’d brought. Weee! Our house is overrun!
