Those Fairies and Photo-Fun!
I’m finally back online. After taking a hiatus for New Year, and entertaining some good friends, I thought I’d come back, check my e-mail, check some forums, and just ease myself back into the old routine.
First off, I’ve got those photographs of the fairies that Alison brought me, as Christmas presents. This is in addition to the two we covered a couple of weeks ago!
Left is Dian O’Fay and right is Brigid. There’s now four of these fairies surreptisiously placed around the downstairs of the house.
We also managed to get around to replacing our broken digital camera in the sales. Yes, we ventured out into the sales with pretty much just that on our minds. We did, however, not go on Boxing Day, as that’s our little protest in favour of all the poor workers in Retail who get preassured into working Bank Holidays.
Anyhow, we managed to pick up an Olympus E-500 Digital SLR with 17.5mm to 45mm lens. This is my first SLR, and I’m already finding the benefits of spending a little more on a digital camera for a longer life solution. “I love my BRICK!” Here’s some photos taken of the sourrounding area… Well, Stony Stratford, at least.
