Lynne Truss, the author of ‘Eats, Shoot & Leaves’, now has online presence. The current web site is rather sparse on material (with only one ‘Funny’ posted.) No doubt, it will — hopefully — become a source of regular linguistic humour for the very, very grumpy (myself, included.)
I wonder how this site will pan out, as Lynne tackles one of the mediums that she identified as a cuplrit for ‘linguistic laxity’. Can we expect the blogosphere to come under attack, with various Truss-issued corrective orders landing in our mailboxes? We can only hope.
