No doubt, it will — hopefully — become a source of regular linguistic humour for the very, very grumpy (myself, included.)

I wonder how this site will pan out, as Lynne tackles one of the mediums that she identified as a cuplrit for ‘linguistic laxity’. Can we expect the blogosphere to come under attack, with various Truss-issued corrective orders landing in our mailboxes? We can only hope.

Look busy, lads. Lynne is coming…

If you came here looking for the DruidWiki (I doubt it :)). It’s my sad duty to inform you that the project has now ended. As stated before on this blog, the site was not really being used. It enjoyed a busy and even controversial start in life, and then sadly dwindled in usage.

I do think the project was a success. It achieved its aims, and previewed the technology and concept to the Druid and Pagan community. However, either the technology is not ready, or the community has no real use for it.

Rest assured that the material submitted to the DruidWiki under the GFDL, is still accessible, protected, and licensed under the GFDL. You can request text via e-mail. And the material is only available under the GFDL still.

My other project, which is relatively new is Druid.tv. Feel free to check it out. It’s going strong, with over 200 downloads of content to date!

Wow! A very enjoyable, thought provoking read (thanks for the recommendation, Colin).

This is Sci-Fi with a spiritual (and sometimes, religious) content. Chiang delves into the human kit and pulls frantically at constants and perceptions. From re-telling of an Old Testamant tale, the edge of an industrial revolution using gola, to a documentary script detailing the arguments for and against automatically controlling perceptions to negate discrimination.

Definately one to get if you fancy a little after-reading thought.

Hi all. Mrs. yibble and I are back from our holiday in Cornwall. Yup, that’s why we’ve had no podcast for a little bit, ‘cos we haven’t been here! That’s also why we’ve not been on our usual Internet haunts, we couldn’t find a WiFi network to ‘visit’ ;)

We’ve got some great photographs up on our Flickr account, showing some of our visit to Tintagel, Trebarwith, Bude, Wadebridge, Padstowe, and Camelford. Tintagel was the launchpad for our assault into the rest of Cornwall. We visited (amongst others) Tintagel Castle, Slaughterbridge, and Saint Nectan’s Glen. Here’s a spattering of photographs for the very, very lazy.

In other news. I’ve come back to interesting finances :) Nothing to worry about, just something that I need to deal with before it gets funky. I’m going to be cutting some various bills, one of those is going to affect the DruidWiki. I’m going to move back to cheaper hosting, which won’t support the software required to keep the DruidWiki running. As it’s not used anyway, I’m going to terminate the project, for reason’s already mentioned on this blog. I will continue to maintain the domain, and protect the material licensed to the DruidWiki.

Anyhoo, It’s good to be back :D
