sLaughterhouse Returns

The sLaughterhouse server, TeeGee’s long infamous battlegrounds has made a re-appearance as a Quake IV server, hosted by fps.net.

The sLaughterhouse has had many incarnations on the Internet. First it was the founding members’ LAN server, and private Internet server. Then InterphaZe’s server was also blessed with the name, and now, it’s back.

The name ’sLaughterhouse’ was originally inspired by the comic strip, ‘Finn‘ from the UK comic, 2000ad. The play on words that one letter can turn the meaning of Laughterhouse, into something far more sinister, seemed perfect for a Quake server.

The current sLaughterhouse can be found at 213.200.95.48:28003, and it’s passworded. I’ll post that password to TeeGee’s private Google Group.

  1. [...] Below are the current maps that we have running on the sLaughterhouse server. At the moment they’re all bog standard Quake IV deathmatch maps. Some maybe too big, others too small. Feel free to comment here if you’d like to see a specific map removed, or indeed, a specific one stay. [...]
