I was hanging around last night after getting back from a friend’s house. Whilst waiting for ScanmaN to update his new Quake IV install, I stumbled unto Parrais! He’s now back in touch :D

Below are the current maps that we have running on the sLaughterhouse server. At the moment they’re all bog standard Quake IV deathmatch maps. Some maybe too big, others too small. Feel free to comment here if you’d like to see a specific map removed, or indeed, a specific one stay.

Digging around the Terminus, and it appears that there were more Terminal Gibbage QuakeWorld skins than I was aware of. I should get on and do a second skin pack. Thanks to the way .pk4 are stacked, this won’t mean I’ll have to package both packs. They can be distributed independantly.

The sLaughterhouse server, TeeGee’s long infamous battlegrounds has made a re-appearance as a Quake IV server, hosted by fps.net.

The sLaughterhouse has had many incarnations on the Internet. First it was the founding members’ LAN server, and private Internet server. Then InterphaZe’s server was also blessed with the name, and now, it’s back.

`ruiner` has retrieved The Terminus from deep archive. The site has been in the technical equivalent of pristine-shrink-wrap for the past eight years. `ruiner` has also uncovered 907mb of demos all given to him as one job lot by Jester.

We’ll see if we can find someway of hosting these precious gems of UK FPS history, most likely in original form, and via in-line movies.
