Well, I’ve been playing in the open beta of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars for about a week now. It’s a damn good game! A worthy successor to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. I decided to grab a quick video, and post it to GeeVee (like YouTube for gamers.)

Just a two minute snap of a Field Op in the public beta of ET:QW. Creating a deployable Rail Howitzer, launching artillery at a Cyclops walker, and knifing some poor sod. Yes, the graphics aren’t as shiny as some recent games… Two words can counteract that, View Distance! The entire level is being rendered, not just a sphere of influence.

Well, I was just going to capture a FoF movie, and upload it to YouTube for my cousin to see, as we seem to both like Guitar Hero style games… I went and got my personal best for Killing in the Name (on easy)

Well. I’m a happy bunny. After having a thoroughly busy day at work, I was cheered up in the last five minutes when I received a request for re-use of one of my Flickr Photographs. Namely, the “Foot of the Great Pyramid.”

The request was from The World and I Online, “… an interdisciplinary resource that encompasses a broad range of articles by scholars and experts in their fields. [...] Over 500,000 students and teachers across America and abroad enjoy the top-quality materials that WorldandISchool.com provides.”

I have agreed, with terms very similar to the original Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License v2.0. I just thought I’d share that with you all :)
