I was so excited when I read that Abney Park made a new album.
AP is one of my favourite bands, and I absolutly love the previous album ‘Of Death and Tragedy’.
Unfortunatly, ‘Lost Horizons’ was a total disappointment for me. The great female vocals are nearly entirely missing, and the whole album just sounds uninspired, dull and not creative any more.
I’m sorry for the negativity here, but after listening to the new album several times now, I still don’t find anything to like. :(

I’m going to have to agree. The only three decent songs out of the entire album are the very same ones that are freely available. It’s not a patch on The Death of Tragedy.
