Lines: 33 Sender: tony@mantis.co.uk Approved: quake@mantis.co.uk Message-ID: All UK Quake players you have got to check out this most excellent Quake site: "http://www.powernet.co.uk/user-bin/run?naf" The site includes: a) A regularly updated (nearly every day) quake news page. b) A modem players list. c) A quake files area (obviously) containing loads of cool quake textures and other essential quake files with full descriptions of what they do and how to use them. d) A quakeC page. e) A UK server list. f) And it is the home of the UK's first Telefrag team "Terminal Gibbage"! Not only does the site include all this it also has some kicking graphics (doesn't take long to download though), Playing tips and a comprehensive list of quake links with ratings! I have talked to the site maintainer and future plans for the site include: A regularly checked server list similar to the stomping grounds. A UK player ladder. And a Quake discussion page devoted to UK quake issues. I would just like everyone to know that I have nothing to do with the site I just think that it deserves recognition for being one of the best quake Web sites around. Go check it out. -- Ned Waterhouse
