Quake Wars Slippage

And I’m not talking about Slipgates. It looks like Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has had its release date put back my almost a month. Both Play.com, and Gameplay.co.uk are quoting the new release date as the 30th March, 2007.

Here’s a few screenshots from last night’s QuakeWorld session. The client is ezQuake, and the high resolution textures are from the Quake Re-Texture, and Quake-Remodeling projects.

Notice how Olli always appears top of the leaderboard? For some reason, I don’t think he stopped playing Quake when the rest of us did :D Yes, we’re in touch with Olli, or Ollli as he now calls himself. He hangs out on #stoner.uk (QuakeNet)

Not that I make a habit of blowing my own trumpet (I can’t reach, for a start.) But last night was my first time back at a number one spot, on a Quake IV public FFA server. Bloody hell! It was an exciting game, full of chance (aren’t they all?) and a little bit Quad-love.
